3 Days Ranthambore High End Luxury Safari at Oberoi Vanyavilas

The hottest period during the year in Ranthambore National Park is between April and June when the temperature can go up to 47 / 48 Degree Celsius. This is the best time to see tigers. It is during this period that professional photographers and filmmakers come to Ranthambore in Rajasthan India.

The coldest months in Ranthambore National Park are from the end of November to the beginning of February, with the mercury dipping down to 2 Degree Celsius. As the vehicles in which one moves in the park are open, it is best to wear very warm clothes or take blankets from the hotels, if the warm clothes prove inadequate. Normally everybody ends up taking blankets after their first safari.

A 3 Days High end Luxury Safari Nestling in the natural beauty of the wilds, The Oberoi Vanyavilas is India’s leading luxury jungle resort on the edge of the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve.

The perfect base from which to explore the territory of the majestic tiger. While it is warm during the day, mornings and evenings are pleasant.

The resort setting is picture-perfect with a dramatic watercourse and sun-kissed private decks. The luxury tents with finely embroidered canopies, luxurious bathrooms and private walled gardens are in perfect contrast to the ruggedness of the jungle.

At Oberoi Vanyavilas with a perfect-scoring location next to a tiger reserve in northwest India, "spacious, magical private tents" set amid lemon and mango trees have enclosed gardens, teak floors, claw-foot tubs, tiger motifs, and air-conditioning. Lagoons and flowering trees make the place "somehow feel like an old British safari camp." The dining room serves Indian, Thai, and Western cuisine. Arriving guests might be greeted by elephants at reception before taking in bears, leopards, and hundreds of bird species on twice-daily game drives.

Detailed Itinerary

Met upon arrival at nearest railway station or airport and transfer to Ranthambore National park. Upon arrival check in at you lodge.

Ranthambore was established as the SawaiMadhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India, and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980. In 1984, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries.

Ranthambore National Park is known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the jungle. Tigers can be easily spotted even during the day time. A good time to visit Ranthambore National Park is in November till May when the nature of the dry deciduous forests makes sightings common. Its deciduous forests were once a part of the magnificent jungles of Central India.

Well known for the diurnal activity of tigers, Ranthambore is a very special and unusual area where a natural present meets a historical past. Sambar, cheetal, chinkara, nilgai langoors. Tiger and Elusive leopard are found in this reserve with tourists standing a very good chance of seeing them in broad daylight.
