Weather

Kenya's weather and climate offer a diverse and captivating experience for travelers throughout the year. Located near the equator, the country enjoys a predominantly tropical climate, making it a year-round destination. Coastal regions, like Mombasa and Diani, boast warm and humid conditions, perfect for beach lovers, with temperatures averaging around 30°C (86°F). Inland areas, including Nairobi, experience a more temperate climate, characterized by cooler nights and pleasant daytime temperatures, often hovering around 20-25°C (68-77°F). The best time to visit Kenya's renowned wildlife reserves, such as the Maasai Mara and Amboseli National Park, is during the dry season from June to October when animals gather around water sources for prime safari viewing. However, those seeking lush landscapes and baby animals should consider the wetter months from November to May. Kenya's climate caters to a wide range of interests, promising a memorable experience for every traveler.
