Weather

Being close to the equator, one can expect the Kenyan ground to be sunshined most amount of times. It is sunny most of the time, dry however not too hot for most of the year.

Rainy Season: March till May and November till December

Central Kenya is situated on a plateau and the altitude keeps the heat index at a comfortable level making the park safaris in Kenya a great delight for most parts of the year.

The coastal areas are relatively higher in temperature and however the sea breeze from the Indian Ocean on the coasts of Mombasa, Lamu and Malindi make it comfortable.

At Mount Kenya there is permanent snow. Western Kenya, being a little far off the sea and lying in central Africa is generally hot and humid.
